Full Sun to Part Shade. Sweet-Tart, Vigorous , self fertile
Likely ‘Poorman’ or ’Pixwell’ but not known for sure; we got a start from a friend’s bush. Fruit hangs well under the canes for easy harvest. Our most prolific bearing gooseberry, fruits are round and blush a bright pink peachy color when ripe. A little tart but still very sweet and delicious eaten fresh. Resists drought and weeds better than any other we’ve seen. Self-fertile. . .
